單純就CPA exam requirement來討論
以下是我去考的紐約州的educational requirement:

Option 3 – (150 licensure requirement) Candidates who applied for licensure
or who completed their education after August 1, 2009 and have completed 150
semester hours, must meet one of the following:
1. Completed a registered 150 program approved by NYSED – (CPA Examination
Services reviews education. Complete Registered Program Form), or
2. Completed a master's degree with a major in accounting from a school
accredited in accounting by AACSB – (CPA Examination Services reviews
education), or
3. Completed a bachelor's or higher degree and a minimum of 150 semester (225
quarter) hours in college level education to include the following:
‧ 33 semester (49.5 quarter) hours in accounting to include each of the
following:
‧ Financial accounting,
‧ Cost accounting,
‧ Taxation,
‧ Audit and attestation,
‧ Accounting research, and
‧ 36 semester (54 quarter) hours in general business.
Note: The following two subjects: Communications and Ethics and
Responsibilities, are requiredand may come from accounting or business.
其他州我沒去看,不過現在大部份的都走150 semester hours,差別大概不大
原PO也許可以考慮第二個選項,
"Completed a master's degree with a major in accounting from a school
accredited in accounting by AACSB"(這個可以用google查)
不過就我所知這些MSA or MACC很多是本科非會計不收的,原PO可以試試看詢問學校,
看能不能進去再補修基本學分之類
至於CPA License的作用?記得以前看過討論,如果剛進公司的level 1,不是必須
等到到level 2 or senior,當大家都有考時,就變成一種必須品了
至於如何進大中小CPA firm? 以前我曾在會計版寫過,看地區,看學校和業界的關係
以及......看你有沒有辦法解決身份問題~~
