The minimum requirement of TOEFL is 113.
1. Are the applications of CS department being discarded by the graduate
admission directly if they don't reach 113 in TOEFL?
2. Is TOEFL going to be part of the evaluation of admission?

Hi,
The TOEFL score is only one of several criteria that are looked at in
determining admittance into our graduate programs. The admissions committee
also considers your GPA, letters of recommendation, Statement of Purpose, GRE
scores, and research that you have done. Having a TOEFL score lower than 113
does not necessarily preclude admittance. Stellar scores in the other parts
of the application can offset a lower TOEFL score. However, the strongest
application is the one that is outstanding in all categories.
