HYUNDAI於造車工藝方面除了承襲德國工匠般的車型品位外,其對於車輛安全的堅持更是
有目共睹,HYUNDAI繼Tucson、Sonata、Santa Fe、Civic等車型獲得IIHS(Insurance
Institute for Highway Safety,高速公路安全保險協會)最高評價Top Safety Pick+後
,近日2017年式Elantr在經過各項測驗後,也獲得此最高殊榮,而HYUNDAI對於撞擊安全
的要求也再一次獲得肯定,而據說最新款式的新一代HYUNDAI Elantra也將以2017年式身
份在國內量產上市,所以對於國內買家來說可是頗具參考價值的好消息!
此次撞擊測驗的項目, 「車頂強度」、「側面撞擊」、「乘客頭部安全防護」「正面偏
位小區域撞擊測試」、「正面偏位撞擊測試」、等五項測試皆拿下「Good(優良)」的成
績。在過去車型中,Elantra由於車體架構不夠穩固而在部分項目中只獲得「Acceptable
(可接受)」的成績,因此,此年式車款便針對車門密合度進行強化,並且加強前方安全
氣囊,以達到其最高水準。
根據IIHS的撞擊測試規範,受測車輛必須在前方碰撞(Moderate overlap front)、側撞
(Side)、車頂強度(Roof strength)、頭枕與座椅(Head restraints & seats)等項
目獲得「Good」的評分,同時必須在前方小面積撞擊(Small overlap front)獲得「
Acceptable」以上才能獲得Top Safety Pick;若要挑戰更高階的Top Safety Pick+則必
須配備前方碰撞預警系統(front crash prevention)。
過去有些人會認為韓國車廠在造車與安全防護方面,往往不如德、日車廠般值得信賴,但
近期HYUNDAI秉持著全球人才運用的理念,現今管理架構也逐漸朝向所謂「韓皮德骨」的
架構,除了車輛測試主要集中於德國如紐柏林進行測試外,車輛外型甚至請來德國籍首席
設計師Peter Schreyer親自操刀,因此,對於HYUNDAY近期除在安全測試與銷售方面屢創
佳績,也就不足為奇了。

說雖然我絕對不會買韓國車,
但看到其他國家的車廠都有一直在進步,
反觀台灣國產車進步的方向好像與消費者期望有落差,
只能說,加油好嗎?
