Microsoft has a license to use the Nokia brand for some 10 years, but that doesn't mean it has to (as far as I can see). What are the chances of Nokia being renamed as the company integrates into Microsoft? (是否可以請ELOP出來澄清到底 Nokia是否要改名成Microsoft Mobile?) A1:Microsoft Mobile Oy is a legal construct that was created to facilitate the merger. It is not a brand that will be seen by consumers. The Nokia brand is available to Microsoft to use for its mobile phones products for a period of time, but Nokia as a brand will not be used for long going forward for smartphones. Work is underway to select the go forward smartphone brand (Microsoft Mobile 只是單純的一個我們行動裝置子公司的名稱，甚至連品牌都稱不上 Nokia這個"品牌名稱"目前允許微軟在一段時間內使用於行動裝置上，但Nokia這個 "品牌名稱"將不會在"未來"的智慧型手機中出現) Q2: What will be the new brand name for future windows phone handsets? (這題沒有回答XDDD) . . . Q7: How about Nokia X future after acquisition? (關於 Nokia X合併後未來的走向?) A7: Microsoft acquired the mobile phones business, inclusive of Nokia X, to help connect the next billion people to Microsoft's services. Nokia X uses the MSFT cloud, not Google's. This is a great opportunity to connect new customers to Skype, outlook.com and Onedrive for the first time. We've already seen tens of thousands of new subscribers on MSFT services. (簡而言之，因為 Nokia X是使用AOSP，所以其實不需要甩google的規範而目前也是一個好機會將自家服務整合到android手機中) Q8: Hi Stephen, Nice to see you being part of Microsoft again. When will we get the first Microsoft branded Smartphone? (round-about) (何時我們才會見到第一台"微軟牌"智慧型手機?(乳摸)) A8: Thanks! I am very excited to be back at MSFT along with my Nokia colleagues. Now that we are One company, the marketing and product folks will lay in the plans for the shift to a consistent brand. While we are not ready to share precise details, i can assure you that it will not be the "Nokia Lumia 1020 with Windows Phone on the AT&T LTE Network" ... too many words! That somehow doesn't roll off the tongue.. (...講了一串才發現其實是"無可奉告"XDD) 當然，中間也有酸民酸他"身為木馬在工作上有沒有什麼困擾"之類的無禮問題不過CEO果然還是脾氣不錯(話術很好XD) 整合一下重點(黃字)以及我自己的想法(紅字) 1. 雖然Nokia在推特上表明品牌名稱會繼續使用不過從問答中多少感覺的道名稱被改其實只是時間的問題罷了有點像是追尋sony-erricson -> one sony的模式 2. 對於之後要推什麼品牌名稱無可奉告 (個人覺得最有可能是Lumia單獨留下來啦~ 雖然之前一直想要surface phone 不過Lumia ICON這個名稱也很不錯(只可惜這個是verizon限定的名稱) 可以維持個每年一旗艦，像是lumia Icon 1, 2 ...好像也不錯?) 3. 原本的Nokia 服務(專屬APP等)都會留著不過原班人馬將會加入現在新的微軟公司也不確定是否會更改名稱 ---- BTW, theverge也透漏今年會出一支codename 是 superman 但有500畫素前鏡頭的中階 4.7吋 wp 個人不負責猜測應該是730 (逃~) -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 61.228.123.168 ※ 文章網址: http://www.ptt.cc/bbs/WindowsPhone/M.1398698248.A.75B.html ※ 編輯: crystalwing (61.228.123.168), 04/28/2014 23:25:08
