Jazz sign Jarron Collins to 10-day contract
SAW LAKERS CITY(AP)
Utah Jazz signed Center Jarron Collins to a 10-day
contract.
The 6-foot-11 veteran has played eight seasons
with the Jazz, averaging 3.9 points and 2.9 rebounds
in 537 career games. Coliins also adds playoff
experience to the Jazz, having plaed 35 games
in postseason, ranked 2nd in the Jazz roster.
"Derrick Favors needs to play smart and throw
out the stats," Coliins said.
"You have to prepare yourself both physically and
mentally. During every game, playing mind games and collecting
information on the opponent's bench will help your team win."
Collins is available for Monday's game against Portland.
