The combination Paul working with Kevin Martin and Trevor Ariza would be scary. If Yao Ming returns to the Rockets, the team would be one of the most talented in the Western Conference. Shane Battier and Luis Scola would provide tough defense, while Paul would be the catalyst on offense for guys like Martin, Ariza, and Ming. While Billups has been great for the Nuggets, Paul could be that little extra something that would put Denver over the edge towards a championship. Although the Clippers seem to be progressing, something tells me Paul wouldn't fully support playing for the other LA squad. If he wants to play for a team that's committed to winning, the Clippers aren't the franchise to choose. But the Heat don't have too much support after that. The move could possibly attract Bosh to town, however. If that were to happen, the Heat would definitely be a force to be reckoned with. Wade and Paul would be able to create a ridiculous amount of opportunities down low for Bosh. On top of that, you have to believe that the chemistry between Wade and Paul would be great. Plus, Paul would be a significant piece in the puzzle to New Jersey signing some of the top free agents in this year's class. It could attract players like LeBron and Chris Bosh to town. The chance to see Paul, Bosh, and James on the same court would be an incredible site. With a point guard of Paul's caliber, the other two would undoubtedly thrive. If the Nets somehow acquired Paul, his appearance would significantly help lure other top stars. One of those would undoubtedly be involved in the trade to bring Paul over, however. Getting the chance to watch Paul team up with Johnson could make the Hawks into a perennial contender in the East. Like the Nets, the Knicks have the cap room to get something like that done. It'll be interesting to see if it works out at all, though. Plus, the chance to play in one of the world's biggest markets has to attract the point guard. It'd be almost impossible to gameplan to limit the pair. The Magic would lose some talent in Jameer Nelson and Vince Carter in order to get Paul, but with the point guard and center together, the team could build from there. Imagine what it'd be like with Paul running the point. On top of that, with all the talent the Lakers have all ready, moving some pieces for Paul wouldn't be as much of a struggle as other teams would face. Paul wants to play for a team committed to winning. First, they'd have to reel in James during free agency, something that definitely isn't known for certain right now. On top of that, the Cavs would have to add Byron Scott as their coach. With James and Scott secured, Paul's addition to the Cleveland lineup would significantly bolster the team. He'd give the Cavs a true point guard that they haven't had in recent years. Scott would be a huge factor since Paul succeeded with him while Scott was coaching in New Orleans. Convincing the coach to come to Cleveland would play a tremendous hand in Paul's decision. With Paul at the helm, James would become an even more dangerous player than he has been. It'd also take away the some of the pressure of James carrying the team.
