My name is Adam Hwang, a free-lance written translator from Chinese to English. Chinese-English translation working experience: Industry reporter with China Economic News Service (belonging to the United Daily News Group) from 1997 to 2003; high-tech news writer with Digitimes from 2003 to September 2021 then retired and continued the work on a part-time basis until March 2023. I have translated a large number of Chinese news articles into English, mainly covering renewable energy, energy storage,
electric vehicles, smart power grids, AI, IoT, IoV (Internet of vehicle), software application, LCD, LED, biotechnology, biomedicine, corporate ESG, energy saving and carbon emission reduction.
Educational background: Bachelor in environmental resources (originally Department of Geography), National Taiwan University in 1977; master in City and Regional Planning, Harvard University (US) in 1983.
I hope to offer Chinese-English translation services on a part-time basis with service charge based on translation volume.
