Beasley needed crutches to get to his locker stall after undergoing treatment.
He also has been battling a lacerated left index finger, which he said has been
affecting his shooting.
"Not to make any excuses, but my offense isn't going as good as I want it to go
right now," a weary Beasley said after the loss. "I'm not scoring like I'm
supposed to. I'm not helping my teammates."
Beasley is shooting 39.4 percent from the floor (39 of 99) after making only 4
of 12 shots Friday night. He limped off the court to the locker room with 1:58
left in the fourth quarter after stepping on Cleveland forward Antawn Jamison's
foot. Beasley said he likely will sit out a "few games" to let his foot heal.
Beasley is not expected to accompany the team for its two-game trip to
Washington and Toronto.

so far this season -- on a night when he again was invisible offensively.

NBA draft. "It's frustrating. Just out there thinking too much, over-thinking
really, and not playing basketball. I think my mind is outside my body when I'm
playing rather than going back to the old Wes. Just let it flow."
