Former University of Wisconsin guard Kammron Taylor said Wednesday that he had accepted an invitation to join the Minnesota Timberwolves' summer league team. The 6-foot-2 point guard performed well in a workout for Minnesota before the National Basketball Association draft last month, so he wasn't surprised to get an offer though he had to wait. The Minneapolis native wasn't on the team's first published summer league roster but said he received an offer on Tuesday. "Better late than never," he said. "But me, I don't care.
