你這句話沒有上下文，所以答案會有爭議。由 2011來看，這句是過去是沒錯。不過如果是
2006年來看，就是未來了。你那本書可能出版時間是在 2008年前，所以才會出現這種情況
。以 "as of" 的句子可以用 現在(有未來涵義) [1]，情態will [2]，現在完成 [3]，
過去[4]，過去進行 [5]，過去完成 [6]，以上下文決定。
