1. 自介：analyst in consulting business , TOEIC 940
other members are in commercial banks/tech firms
2. 對象
being able to discuss topics in English
(TOEFL 80/TOEIC 850/IELTS 5.5 above are preferred)
keep updated with recent news and have keen interests and familiar with one of:
finance/industry/macroeconomics/global trends issues
or other related fields
pls send me ptt mail including the following items,
(1) background (major or working experiences)
(2) English ability
(3) reasons to join the study group
(4) in above topics, which one are you familiar with the most? or what topic
you are familiar with? give some examples of the topic
(5) facebook id or link, I will add you to the group on facebook
3. 目標：
(1) being able to discuss topics in English fluently
(2) discuss recent news or important trends
4. 原因：improve oral ability and share opinions about above issues
5. 地點：skype
6. 時間：10am on Saturdays
7. 方式：
members take turns to host the discussion, and the host decide how to run
the discussion
8. 範圍：
our topics focus on economics/finance/industry/global trends
we have discussed gold price and the depreciation of Japanese yen
9. 人數限制：
we have 4 ppl now, and we want to recruit one more member
10.解散條件：
members less than 2
11.運作規則：
host will decide how to run the discussion
since we are all busy at our work, we want to keep as less burden as possible
we want to recruit a member who is an expertise in certain field
and he/she can lead the discussion when being the host
we have members from different backgrounds, so we can share the knowledge
please be noted it is very important of always catching up recent news!!
otherwise we can't discuss smoothly
