[問題] no treatment group的index date?已刪文
考慮一個回溯性研究
在database中，有大約15年間的門診病人的就診紀錄
有一群病人，分別在不同時間點被診斷某個疾病
部分病人在診斷後也許六個月後，也許三年或五年後，開始被給予某藥物
其他病人自始至終沒有被給予該藥物
想要分析使用該藥物之後某些event發生率是否改變
treatment group的index date可以訂在開始使用藥物的那一天
但是no treatment group應該把index date訂在何時，會比較理想?
我的幾個想法:
1.將treatment group跟no treatment group的baseline data做 matching pairs
如果某個treatment case在診斷後8個月開始使用藥物
就把配對的no treatment case的index date也訂在8個月後
2.求取treatment group 從診斷到開始使用藥物時間的平均值(或中位數?)，比如1.2年。
no treatment group 一律從診斷後1.2年開始追蹤event是否發生
3.如果某個treatment case在某天開始使用藥物，將同一天(或同一月?)有來門診的
no treatment病人配對給他
4.其他方法?
