[問題] R的手冊有個專有名詞看不懂
Vector
請問這個詞到底是什麼意思?
比方說以下這句
Character quantities & character vectors are used frequently in R
或是
along=vector , which if used must be the only parameter ,
and create a sequence 1 , 2 , ...... , length(vector) ,
or the empty sequence if the vector is empty (as it can be)
還有
Vectors are the most important type of object in R,
but there are several others which we will meet more formally in later sections

我感覺這應該是很重要的字
有很多意思在裡面
可是我實在看不懂
請高人協助
