A tire manufacturer wishes to determine whether, on the average, a brand of
steel-belted radial tires provides more than 50,000 miles of wear.
A random sample of 36 tires yielded a mean, X , of 52,100 miles and a standard
deviation, s, of 2,500 miles.
(a) Use t to test the null hypothesis at the .01 level of significance.
請問 假設是不是ho:u=50000 h1:u>=50000 ?
