[問題]檢定
Young Adult magazine states the following hypotheses about the mean age
of its subscribers.
Ho : μ＝28
H1 : μ≠28
If the manager conducting the test will permit a 0.15 probability of
making TypeⅡ error when the true mean age is 29 , what sample size
should be selected? Assume σ＝6 and a 0.05 level of significance.
(Note that P(Z≧Za)=a. And Z0.15=1.04 , Z0.05=1.645 Z0.025=1.96 Z0.005=2.576)
