CHICAGO - The 76ers probably won't get injured forward Thaddeus Young back
until the first game of the playoffs.
Young, who has a sprained right ankle, was at the shoot-around yesterday
morning as the team prepared to play the Chicago Bulls at the United Center.
Although he wasn't doing anything especially athletic, Young was wearing both
sneakers and shooting jumpers.

The Bulls beat the Sixers last night, giving the Sixers losses in their last
three games, all to teams with losing records.

"The best-case scenario is that he might be able to come back for one game
before the playoffs," coach Tony DiLeo said. "But right now, we're looking at
the playoffs - to give him more time."

Since Young sprained the ankle 10 days ago, the Sixers have won two games and

of 14 home games since trading for guard John Salmons - a Plymouth Whitemarsh
graduate - and center Brad Miller.
