老球探 Clint Eastwood 心不在焉地看著轉播，女兒 Amy Adams 飽受冷落；螢幕上投
球的正是永恆的 Tim Hudson，現役投手中奪勝渠首。但 Hudson 並不張狂，他只是年
復一年，內歛而優雅地攻擊著好球帶邊緣，sinker，cutter，4-seamer。
我相信電影導演必然經過揀擇，才拍下 Clint Eastwood 凝視 Tim Hudson，而非更具
戲劇張力的投手，比方說我們另一位馳名的 Big Time Timmy Jim。惟有這樣的洗練，
才能平淡地容納雜沓穿心的情感，二十年說不出口的關懷。場上場下，如戲如真。
