Kings void Hayes' contract after failed physical

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) -- The Sacramento Kings voided Chuck Hayes' $21.3
million, four-year contract Monday, saying the forward-center failed a team
physical that forced his release.
Kings general manager Geoff Petrie said in a statement Monday that informing
Hayes his deal had been voided was "one of the most heartbreaking moments of
my professional or personal life." He said Hayes asked the team to refrain
from any further comment.
由於Chuck Hayes在先前體檢時被檢查出心臟有問題，
故他與球隊簽訂的四年2130萬合約也宣告作廢。

Chuck Hayes has failed his physical exam for the Kings and had his four-year,
$21 million contract voided. This means he's a free agent once again,
although his career appears to be in serious jeopardy after an abnormality
was revealed in his heart test.
