At first, I was stumped trying to explain how the Rockets won their summer league opener. That is not normally a good thing. 首先，我覺得有點難去解釋火箭是怎麼贏得夏季聯盟開幕戰的，正常來說，那不是件好事。 They had more turnovers (28) than field goals (24). Their leading scorer, James White, made three shots. They lived at the line, but made just 60.6 percent of their free throws. 他們的失誤(28)比投中數(24)還多，他們得分王是小白，只投進了三顆球。他們常常罰球，但只有60.6趴的命中率。 They won because they outworked the Warriors, a team with two lottery picks (Stephen Curry and Anthony Randolph) and dominated the boards. That is not particularly exciting for summer league. It would have been better to have White throw down a few slams, or anyone to pour in 3s (the Rockets made just five). And the real Rockets will have to win this way sometimes. 任何勝利都是好的。而且真正的火箭有時候也將必須用這種方式去贏球。 Still, it might be nice to see White go off in the second game. 當然啦，如果小白第二場也打的很好肯定是件好事。 ‧ ‧ ‧ In an effort to step in for Tracy McGrady, Jermaine Taylor and James White are off to good starts. 踢妹、泰勒、小白的努力都有好的開始。 Taylor pulled a hamstring and White twice sprained ankles. 泰勒拉傷了腿，小白兩次扭到了腳踝。 Taylor missed the first game of summer league, but could be ready to play Saturday. White only missed on practice, and played on Friday. 泰勒錯過了第一場夏季賽，但禮拜六應該可以打。小白只缺席了練習，禮拜五就上場了。 He looked pretty good. He took just seven shots, making 3. But he was under control for the most part, had 14 points to lead the Rockets and showed an even more solid shooting stroke. This summer league needs something to make it more interesting. (Chase Budinger has a chance, too.) There are summer league all stars who can't do anything like that in the real NBA. John Lucas killed here. It is, be design, not much, just some light cuts, set shots and free throws.
