While Yao is not expected to play next season, he has yet to determine how he
will treat his injury going forward.
"I am still considering what course of action is best," Yao said in a
statement to FOX 26 Sports issued through his agent John Huizinga.
"Once a decision has been made, I will let people know and I will proceed
with the same high level of optimism and dedication that I have had in the
past. I look forward to returning to play as soon as my recovery allows."
姚確定缺席下一季, 但是經紀人說詳細的治療方式還沒決定.

順道一提 這個傷還影響到的是姚明續約的問題
本來姚計畫在2010球季結束後讓合約到期 重簽新約
現在有人認為姚應該動用他的球員選擇權 續約到2011年
