He says the talk right now is for two years. If the Red Sox do land Cameron, our earlier discussions of Theo Epstein essentially dumping out of what many assume he feels is an overpriced market for Jason Bay and Matt Holliday seems more and more likely. Cameron, of course, has been a great defensive CF for years, though a regular strikeout victim at the plate. He does provide power, however, and as a cheap depth option in the outfield, would be about a night and day difference in LF from Bay, who most AL teams would plug into a DH role.
