A source with direct knowledge of Jon Lester's medical condition told the Boston Globe that Lester's latest CT scan was clean and his cancer seems to be in remission. Neither Lester nor his family would comment. If the report is true, Lester should be able to go to spring training and contend for a job, though the Red Sox aren't planning on leaving a rotation spot open for him.
