Grades and some quotes of:
陳金鋒 "With two years at Triple-A under his belt, we can safely conclude
that he would be a .240-.260 hitter at the major league level
(possibly .220-.230 in dodger stadium). ......There are lots of
guys with his skill set stalled in Triple-A. He'll need some measure
of luck now to get a job." Grade C
曹錦輝 "The question now will be adapting to the thin air, and additional
Triple-A time may be advisable. I'd firmly recommend him if he
pitched for a different team, but you know how that goes."
Grade B+
王建民 "He can hit spots when everything is going right, but he doesn't
like to give in to hitters, and had problems with command in the
zone last year, not always throwing quality strikes. If health
issues do not recur, I think he has a good chance to rebound."
Grade C+
羅錦龍 "He pitched in the Northwest league in 2003 as a 17-year-old, much
younger than most of the competition, and held his own.
He's a long way from being able to help, but if he stays healthy
he could be an outstanding pitcher." Grade B-
胡金龍 "Hu's best skills right now are defensive. ......His plate discipline
is adequate but will need to improve. We need to see what he does
at higher levels, but there's a lot of positive projection here."
Grade C+
