也許該由定義來看shear strain比較好
根據R. C. Hibbler的 Mechanics of Materials中的定義
Shear strain: The change in angle that occurs between two line segments
that were originally perpendicular to one another is refered to as
shear strain.
根據你的的圖,此element的shear strain就是d(alpha)+d(deta)
舉d(alpha)這個角來看
因為shear strain不改變element的長度,所以element的邊長(AB)=delta(y)
AC=(du/dy)*delta(y)
所以sin(d(alpha))近似於d(alpha)=(AC)/(AB)=du/dy!
