Postdoctoral Position Available
Our research is focused on the biogenesis of the mammalian Golgi apparatus
during the cell cycle. In particular, we study the role of the spindle
machinery in Golgi partitioning and the dynamic organization of the Golgi
structure during cell migration in metastasizing tumor cells. To address
these questions, we use a combination of imaging approaches (including
fluorescence and electron microscopy), biochemistry and cell biology.
The ideal candidate should be a recent PhD graduate with a background
in cell biology, biochemistry and microscopy, a record of publications
and creativity.
