: HOUSTON -- Gilbert Arenas is going to be busy for a guy who wasn't originally
: supposed to be at All-Star weekend.
: Arenas was chosen to replace the Phoenix Suns' Raja Bell in the 3-point
: contest, the NBA announced Friday. The league said Bell was excused because of
: a family illness.
: Arenas was not picked for the Eastern Conference All-Star team despite ranking
: fourth in the league with 28.3 points per game. He was added to the team by

，原本無緣參與這次盛會的他，上周先接到獲准參加明星賽的通知，今天(台北時間18日)
又再得知可以參加三分球大賽，這個週末，亞瑞納斯實在有得忙！原先要參賽的太陽隊貝
爾(Raja Bell)因家庭因素而向聯盟婉拒了明天的比賽，亞瑞納斯因而受邀參賽，上周亞
瑞納斯才因小歐尼爾(Jermaine O’Neal)的傷勢問題退出明星賽，臨時接到聯盟的通知遞
補入選，本季亞瑞納斯平均每場可投進2.3記三分球，命中率為34%。
這次三分球大賽的名單素質相當的完整，除了尋求衛冕的理查森(Quentin Richardson)外
，還包括小牛隊的諾威斯基(Dirk Nowitzki)、泰瑞(Jason Terry)、超音速的艾倫(Ray A
llen)以及活塞隊(新聞、網站)的畢拉普斯(Chauncey Billups)，競爭相當的激烈。
三分球大賽於台北時間明天(19日)展開，還包括明星投籃賽及灌籃大賽，今天(18日)先登
場的是新秀對抗賽，最受矚目的東西區明星賽於台北時間星期一早上開打。
