By Scott Church Feb 3, 2004, 00:20 Welcome Suns fans to this week’s version of the Suns Post. The Suns have returned from a five game East Coast trip that they did not do so well on. They went 4-1 on the road and are 17-32 overall. The Suns are definitely not near where the fans or management wanted them to be. To make matters worse, the team has released Scott Williams. It was a mutual decision so that he could join Dallas, but who is going to be the team leader on the Suns now? Williams brought an excellent veteran voice to the locker room and now that heis gone, who will step up? This very interesting question will only be revealed in time. More on this as well as some more info on Williams, the young guys, rumblings, and this coming week. 歡迎太陽球迷來看看太陽本週的情況。太陽隊已經從5場東征之旅回來了，而他們並沒有表現得很好，目標是4勝1敗，但結果是總成績17勝32敗。太陽隊明顯地沒有達到球迷和管理階層的預期，更糟的是S.Williams還被球隊釋出。這是一個互相信賴的決定，也因此他能如願加入達拉斯，但是現在誰將會擔起球隊的領袖呢？Williams在球員休息室有著絕佳的老手意見，而現他走了，誰能接棒？這個有趣的問題將隨著時間揭開答案。還有更多關於Williams的消息、太陽的年輕人、風聲以及本週走勢。 Just to show how good of an organization the Suns are, I’m going to go in a little deeper with Williams being released. Before the Suns released him, the Suns made sure that none of the other teams were not going to sign him ahead of Dallas. All of the teams agreed except for the Lakers but it did not look like they would sign him. From what I understand, the Heat threatened to sign him and Williams threatened to retire if they did. Williams would have rejoined the Suns as an assistant in that case but luckily, Dallas was able to get him and everyone is happy. The Suns really showed their class by helping Williams get to Dallas without any problems. I think that the best candidate and the guy that should step up is Marion. Marion has been with the team long enough and he needs to take a more vocal/leadership part on the team. 現在問題就只在誰會接下Williams老大哥的位置？最好的候選人應該是Mrion。 Marion在這支球隊待的夠久而他也必須扮演這支球隊的發言和領袖精神部分。 How the Young Guys are Playing: （年輕人表現如何:） Joe Johnson: He has been hot the last couple of games and has really led this team since Stoudamire has been out. Over the last five games he has been on fire and the last three, he has averaged just over 27 PPG. I think that without Penny there, JJ is able to play his game without worrying about being benched. He has really been carrying this team and I hope he continues to get better and better. All I have to say is: Thanks Boston. JJ:在過去兩場比賽他變的很燙，而自從阿嬤受傷後他也確實撐起這支球隊。在過去五場比賽他已經火力全開，而在過去三場比賽中，他平均得分達到27分。作者認為沒有了 penny，JJ可以打屬於他自己的比賽而不必再擔心被換下場。他確實已經成為球隊的核心，同時也希望他能越打越好。在這裡要說的只有一句話：謝囉^^波士頓。 Casey Jacobsen: Casey has benefited the most from the Marbury trade as well as Stoudamire being out. He has moved into the small-ball starting lineup at the SF position and he has played decently. His offence still is not there but he has been playing great defense. He has shown what he is capable of and if his shot starts going down, he will continue to get minutes when Stoudamire comes back. 帥哥：帥哥自從Marbury被換走和阿嬤受傷後得到大部分的好處。他在小球風格的先發名單中擔任小前鋒的工作，而他也表現得很得體。他的攻擊雖然還沒進入狀況，但是他已經表現出一流的防守。他已經展現出他的才能，只要他的攻擊開始步上正軌，就算阿嬤回來後也還是可以繼續得到上場時間。 Googs: I know that the team is playing him more because the trade deadline is coming up and they want to make him look good, but dang, just bench the guy. He has not played well when he plays. His last game he went 0-4. Play Zarko or Lampe please. 老古：我們都知道球隊增加他的上場時間是為了要再交易截止日前讓他看起來有價值一點，但是麻煩把他放在場外。當他上場時他的表現並不好，上一場比賽他4投0中。讓 Zarko和Lampe上，拜託。 Lampe: He has played two games now. He has played in two games, 18 minutes and 4 total points. He has lots of potential and it is time for the Suns to give him a chance. 他現在已經上過兩場比賽，上場18分鐘，共得4分。他很有潛力，而現在是太陽隊給他機會的時候了。 Zarko: Zarko has not found the shooting touch he had before his broken wrist and so the Suns have cut his playing time. If he had not had his wrist broken , he would have been starting games instead of Jacobsen. He has the size and skill but I think that his confidence has been severely shaken and he just needs to get it back. I find it hard to believe because Amare seams to have a good work ethic. If this is true, this is something that he doesn’t want to be labeled with. No one wants to be known as a soft player, especially in their second year, so I’m hoping that these rumors are not true and that he will be back as soon as he can. 有聽說一些阿嬤的謠言，是說他現在已經可以立刻上場了，但是卻因為不想帶傷上陣而沒這麼做。因為阿嬤看起來有著良好的工作態度，所以會發現這很難讓人相信。假如這是事實，這會是他不想讓人貼上標籤的那種事。沒有人想要被認為是個軟弱的球員，特別是在他們的生涯第2年，因此只希望這些謠言不是事實，而阿嬤可以用他最快的速度回到場上。 This coming week the Suns play four games at home: 下週太陽將在主場出賽4場： Monday vs. Houston: If the Suns are able to contain Yao Ming, the Suns will win. If they let him get inside position and the shots he wants, the Suns will lose. Suns win. 週一對火箭：如果太陽能對付姚明就能贏，反之，讓姚明打出來就會輸。預測是太陽贏。 Wednesday vs. Portland: The Blazers have been playing great of late and the Suns have not handled them well in the past. Especially their big lineup.
