Amazon在2007年推出了電子書閱讀器Kindle 目前已經造成極大的迴響，都呈現缺貨狀態，原本一台400美金的機器 eBay已經喊價到900美金了小弟剛剛去翻了一些資訊，發現其實這種東西也算是一種突破如果可以好好發展的話，也可以成為身上不可缺的電子產品之一其中最大的特點就是他的螢幕用電子噴墨式的螢幕讓閱讀起來眼睛不會感到疲勞，而且在太陽光底下也可以閱讀，缺點是只有黑白兩色而他的Provider就是美國最的網路書商Amazon(地位似乎與台灣的博客來類似) 電子書下載似乎也不是問題，其中這個閱讀器內建Wifi 不必透過電腦即可下載最新的電子書除了Wifi以外，更內建了3G的通訊功能，最屌的是你用3G下載不用付連線費用，只要付書費就好了不過這是Amazon和Sprint的合作型態，如果有引進到台灣是不是這樣就不曉得了可以設定自動更新每天的報紙(X的光這點我就哈到爆了) 想想，每天早上起來，就有中時/自由/蘋果/聯合/NY times/讀賣新聞/TIME可以讀…. 而且我試過使用介面…不是蓋的，比PDA上的Spb insight之類的RSS reader快好幾倍不會有卡卡的感覺，用起來非常流暢，這似乎也是微軟作業系統的一個瑕疵電池時間也是超高，應該是沒有背光的關係容量好像沒有SD擴充之類的所以官方公佈的說法是只能放200本書…一大遺憾大小大約是一本書的大小，重量大約是260g，約是Dopod 900的重量…. 可以發送E-mail和圖片(沒有彩色要怎麼寄圖片…) 一本書大約是10塊美金，是實體書的1/3到1/2左右以下附上一些資訊好了 Amazon的官方網站(內有介紹影片) http://0rz.tw/883ME ZDNet Taiwan 中文的介紹 http://www.zdnet.com.tw/news/software/0,2000085678,20126133,00.htm Amazon 的介紹: Revolutionary electronic-paper display provides a sharp, high-resolution screen that looks and reads like real paper. Included in the box: Kindle wireless reader, Book cover, Power adapter, USB 2.0 cable ======================================================================== 小朋友討論時間: 大家覺得UMPC or PDA可不可能取代這種產品?或是說學這種產品推出類似的功能? 小弟覺得100%不可能，因為導向就不一樣了就拿耗電和螢幕來說，PDA螢幕大小大約是3”，如果拿到六吋螢幕的PDA還叫PDA嗎? PDA用的是TFT液晶螢幕，看十分鐘大概眼睛就累了，看一天大概就可以唱流浪到淡水了 UMPC似乎跟PDA情況類似，但UMPC的耗電….恩… 另外要討論的是台灣有沒有公司有意願做類似的東西? 我覺得要做的話，最重要的一點就是要跟博客來合作，另外可以考慮做雙螢幕一邊用電子噴墨式的液晶螢幕，另一邊用TFT液晶螢幕專門顯示圖片用另外，如果加入打逼功能的話…我敢保證賣一百萬台都有可能… 價錢的話，最好可以控制在萬元左右來scer,pttdouble,gpc,yLi大林供跨賣 -- Philip C.F.
