關於鬍子哥Barton，Jose Enrique也有話要說：

不過那傢伙似乎對這個造型很滿意，還對我們都盯著報紙上他的照片感到很自豪。(XD)
"He didn't realise we were all laughing at it. It is ugly, really, really ugly
and I told him that, but he does not want to shave it off and I cannot
understand why because it looks so bad. I suppose if he plays well,
I don't care what he looks like.
其實我們都在笑他，科科！那個鬍子實在很醜、超醜、醜到爆！
我告訴他這個事實，不過他連刮都不想刮，我完全不能理解──那看起來糟透了！
不過老實說，如果他能好好表現，他長怎樣都不重要的啦。
"At the start of the pre-season, Alan Smith and a few others
started growing moustaches but said they would shave them off --
when the Premier League started.
在季前訓練剛開始時，阿蘭和幾個球員開始留鬍子，他們說會留到開季為止。
"But Joey continued with his moustache. He claims he will keep it until
we win a game. Let's hope we win one soon, if that's the case.
He is a crazy man. This means we have to win the game against Villa.
不過只有這傢伙留得特別醜，而且還繼續留下去，
他說只要贏第一場球他就刮掉，所以我們還是快點贏球比較好，如果他說話算話的話。
他是個瘋子（大家都知道）這表示下一場對維拉，我們非贏不可！
"We will get rid or it for him.
I will even shave it off myself. It would be my pleasure.
He looks like my father and he is in his 50s. Yes, you can say Joey looks
like a 50-year-old man. He is going to love me for saying that."
老天爺啊，我們會為了讓他早點換造型而戰！
（如果他刮的話）我甚至也可以陪他一起刮，這是我的榮幸。
他看起來就像我老爸，而且是我老爸50歲左右的樣子。你可以直接說他現在就是個老頭!
我老爸聽到這些話一定會很開心的。

兄弟象領隊洪瑞河：有聽說過，沒禁止加入。
球員成立工會前就有聽說，我們沒有禁止球員加入。台灣職棒已沒有退路，球員成
立工會的出發點應是重新爭取球迷的認同，否則賭博一再發生，職棒就玩不下去了。
統一獅領隊林增祥：沒人跟我講，當不知道。
沒人跟我講過這件事，我就當做不知道。不知道的事就不存在，我當它是空氣，所
以我不跟空氣對話。
