Carter選擇跳脫合約
Vince Carter opted out of his Nets contract Friday, according to league
sources, and will be free to test the market as of Sunday. But Carter isn’t
expected to leave New Jersey.
Multiple league sources said the All-Star shooting guard could agree on a new
deal with the Nets as early as Sunday, the first day teams are allowed to
negotiate with players.
Nothing, however, can be announced until July 11, when the moratorium is
lifted.
Carter had until June 30 to opt out of a deal that was going to pay him
$16.3 million for the upcoming season, and was expected to do so. According
to sources, the proposed deal with the Nets will be worth between $60 million
and $65 million over four years.
Calls to Carter’s agent, Kurt Schoeppler, weren’t immediately returned.
簡單的說VC有意測試自由市場
不過續約希望應該仍是十分濃厚
