But now it’s the same ball throughout, in Japan. But it’s still different from a major-league ball. The workload is different, because they pitch every seven days, versus five days over here. Strike zones are different. The lineups are different. “There’s a lot of risk associated with working through those variables. And that speaks to why we had a scout over there as much as we possibly could. As well as the evaluations in the WBC, with the major-league baseball, against major-league hitters. But at some point you still have to make a call, and make a judgment. We obviously believe in this player’s talent.
