Hi, welcome to the TAMSHUI tour!
International Student Information Service Club (ISIS) are willing to give a
warm welcome to all the foreign exchange students that are here at NTU.
In order to help you become familiar with the new surroundings, we would like
to invite you to join the TAMSHUI tour, which is going to be held on Saturday,
September 13th. The TAMSHUI tour will be fun and help you get quick ideas about
Taiwan. If you can take part in this activity, please check "□Yes, I'd like to
join the tour."

About Tamshui
Tamshui's Cultural Heritage
Where the Tamshui River flows through an opening between Tatun and Kuan Yin
Mountains lies Tamshui, one of Taiwan's culturally richest towns. In Tamshui,
there are 17 designated historical sites, including the foreign architecture
of Fort San Domingo.
Tamshui's - Inspiring Artistic Creativity
During the Japanese colonial period (1895-1945), Tamshui was known to some as
"Venice of the East," and down to the present day, the town has been a favorite
scene for painters. Local artists have used Tamshui as a main theme for their
creative works and brought people a realistic vision of the society.

淡水文化資產
在大屯山、觀音山和淡水河所拉開的背景下，淡水周遭有著港口、石滬
、林野、梯田等豐富景觀，加上漢人所經營的市街聚落，及伴隨著世界
殖民歷史所展開的各種文化交流經驗，累積成為今日淡水引人入勝的街
景特色。淡水是台灣擁有最多文化資產的鄉鎮之一。淡水擁有17處經指
