V = Vo(1 - e^(-t/RC)) => after one time constant means t = RC
=> V = Vo(1 - e^(-1)) = 5(1 - e^(-1))
And tr means the time required for the value of (1 - e^(-t/RC))
to change from 0.1 to 0.9
Let X = (-t/RC) => (1 - e^X) = 0.1 yields X = -0.105
and (1 - e^X) = 0.9 yields X = -2.303
=> tr = (2.303 - 0.105)RC = 2.2RC
