Contrary to many people's stereotypical belief, games could be benificial
for kids from several dimentions. The standing prominent among game's
beneficial functions is its teacher'like role.
When it comes to playing this board game, the players are often suggested
to watch, pause, and then cautiously make the next move. plunging into
impulsive action often parallels a loss. Thisscenario could also serve as a
reminder when we are confronted with a make-or-break decision- changing
career, selecting a life-long spouse, staking a straggering sum of money on a
business. On the other hand, it is when on the board that we find each and
every chessman has its specific function. The Chariot could march its way to
any point, sweeping away anythings on its path; it could deny the horse,
defeat the minister, or even drive out the highest-ranking Marshal. However,
susprisingly, it might also be taken by the minor Pawn or Soldiers. This tells
us that everyone could do somthing , go somewhere, become some body- as long
as he or she played the designed role well. And the Chinese chess again
wnlightens us when we loss the game. We can simply start another game - if
we are not cowed and frustrated. If sticking to the philosophies learned from
the chess game, likely result are that, loss battles could be re-won; lost
ground regained; lost fortune re-earned.
