我剛去看了一下,他們的ranking又排前囉
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas ranks
in the top 10 institutions in America in four of the six biomedical
fields assessed in an independent analysis of scientific research
impact. Only two institutions-Harvard University and the University
of California, San Francisco-scored higher, by achieving a top 10
ranking in five of the six fields. None was ranked in all six.
Along with UT Southwestern, three others-Yale University, Rockefeller
University and the University of California, San Diego-achieved top
rankings in four of the categories in the Science Watch study,
which analyzed the impact of research publications from 1997
through 2001. The scientific community has recognized for some time
that UT Southwestern has been rapidly gaining in stature and is now
among the leaders in biomedical science,said Dr. Kern Wildenthal,

with a history of little more than 50 years, to be ranked as a leader

: 不過這家學校一直在進步中唷~而且它只有研究所以上的機構
: 沒有大學部,所以算是對唸博士班的人來講,比較好的....不用花時間去帶人啦
: 而且學校有很多挺讚的faculties,經費也充足....
: 最好的是-我申請的是division of cell and molecular biology
: 是屬於整合性的program,等到博二才要選program,所以一開始可以先去
: 不同的field rotation,等自己一年所學的經驗足夠後在挑選喔
: 有Cell biololy; Biochemistry;Biophysics;Neuronscience;
: integral biology;pharmacology... 共8個program
: 大家如果有興趣可以上它們的網站去瞧瞧~
