10 Things About Justine Henin-Hardenne...
* She has been featured on the cover of Belgian magazine La Libre Match
alongside husband Pierre-Yves Hardenne who she married in November 2002.
* She has released a biography, the preface of which is written by John
McEnroe and Nathalie Tauziat.
* She most admired Steffi Graf for her elegance on the court and what
she accomplished in her career.
* She was invited to Belgian's Royal Palace after her 2001 semi final
appearance at Roland-Garros.
* She is superstitious about walking on the lines of a tennis court.
* She won the junior title at 1997 Roland-Garros as a wildcard, becoming
the first Belgian to win there since 1947.
* One of her pet peeves is people who are late.
* Her most memorable experience was the crowd's reaction when she walked
off Center Court after beating Jennifer Capriati in the 2001 Wimbledon
semi final.
* She has two older brothers, David and Thomas, and a younger sister Sarah.
* One of her favorite artists is Celine Dion.

* You can quite often find her enjoying the sun, sand and surf in Australia
during December; she usually spends the Aussie Summer with boyfriend and
world No1 Lleyton Hewitt.

* Her father Leo is a soccer coach and former player and her mother Els was
a top gymnast.

* She likes shopping in London or New York and tries to catch a musical
while there too (her favorites include Saturday Night Fever and Starlight
Express).
* Last year she and countrywomen Justine Henin-Hardenne received the Trophee
National du Merite Sportif (Trophy for National Sporting Excellence) from
the Belgian government, on the second time since the award's inception
that tennis had been honored (and the first time for women's tennis
players).
* Her 18-year-old sister Elke was a top junior and is starting to make her
way on the professional tour this year.
* Her favorite movies are Gladiator and Hurricane.
* She likes to play other sports (soccer, squash and badminton) because she
believes it helps her tennis.
