校長對bbs問題的回覆

Please forgive me for not replying in Chinese.
First of all, I appreciate that you chose to bring
this problem to my attention, and give me a chance
to explain. I have heard from other alumni about
this problem lately too and had looked into the
issues. Mingdao 100% supports this bbs. I treasure
it as a good comminication channel among Mingdao 人.
There are two problems actually. One is technical, in short,
the server broke. The other one is about authority. Since
we respect the privacy of this bbs, we give full authority
to students so that we teachers don't even have the password
to maintain the server. That setup is based on the promise from
students in charge. However, since the server broke a few weeks
ago, teachers have been trying to contact students in charge to
come to the computer room to fix the problem. But those students
who know how to fix the problem are all alumni and wouldn't
be available until this Thursday. So, I believe the problem should
be fixed by end of this week. When helpers are here, we will also
discuss how to avoid this service-offline problem from happening
again in the future.
Mingdao is doing well. Teachers and students here are working
hard and smart. With alumni like you, I have full confidence that
we'll continue to go from A to A+ to A++, etc....
