X-rays taken on LaMarcus Aldridge's left thumb returned negative on Monday, and he will be re-evaluated on Tuesday. This is about as good as the news can get, and he was seen in the locker room with a towel over his hand, grumbling "It's just a towel." Aldridge also had an MRI taken and that might be the bigger test, so owners aren't in the clear. But if you were looking at the speculative adds from earlier in the night, you may want to tap the breaks just a little bit.
