Deron Williams will have wrist surgery on Friday to clean up bone fragments an
d scar tissue, ending his season.
As recently as a few weeks ago Avery Johnson said that surgery wasn't the
solution, but D-Will's most recent MRI seems to have changed the prognosis.
Regardless, it's the culmination of a prolonged injury for Williams but he
should be healthy and ready to go for training camp next year. Jordan Farmar
will take the starting gig for the remainder of this season.
