Brandon Bass appears to have suffered a serious ankle sprain after
it swelled up "grotesquely" following Monday's loss.
Bass twisted his ankle in third quarter and X-rays came back negative.
But extreme swelling is often a sign of severe damage -- maybe even
a high-ankle sprain. A prolonged absence would be huge news for Ryan Anderson,
who would push for 35 minutes a night while Bass is out.
Anderson's unique ability to make 3s, block shots and rebound would
make him a top-50 fantasy player with that kind of burn.
