Yao (ankle) will miss the rest of the season, the Sporting News reports.
Recommendation: The Rockets made the decision to keep Yao out for the season
after an MRI taken Thursday revealed a separate injury from the one that was
already keeping him out. They remain hopeful that Yao will be able to play
again, but nothing is guaranteed at this point. Either way, those owners who
had been holding onto Yao can safely drop him at this point.
