DeMar DeRozan says he wanted to run things back one last time with the
Raptors after LeBron James signed with the Lakers.
DeMar DeRozan說當LBJ跟湖人簽約後，那時候他想要跟暴龍再努力一次。
The Raptors’ pre-Kawhi era was defined by a series of unceremonious playoff
exits. They got knocked out in the first round by the Nets in 2014 and the
Wizards in 2015. They managed to make a run to the Conference Finals in 2016
only to get bullied by James and co.
在Kawhi還沒去暴龍之前，暴龍的季後賽都是失敗的。2014年在季後賽第一輪被籃網，2015
年被巫師淘汰。他們在2016年終於打到東冠，但是在東冠被LBJ率領的騎士霸凌。
The Cavs in 2017 were one of the greatest playoff teams in history to not win
the title. They dismantled the Raptors in the second round with a sweep that
year. Despite losing Kyrie Irving to the Celtics, LeBron James turned Toronto
into LeBronto in another sweep the following year.
2017年的騎士雖沒拿下總冠，但也是NBA史上最強季後賽隊伍之一，他們那年在第二輪橫掃
暴龍。而在來年，儘管Kyrie Irving去了青賽，LBJ還是橫掃暴龍，把多倫多(Toronto)變

DeRozan was criticized for wilting on the playoff stage before 2018. But the
way in which he played against the Cavs piled the agony onto him. It was
almost clear that Masai Ujiri would be willing to trade him away, and he
eventually worked a trade bringing Kawhi to Toronto.
在2018年之前，DeRozan因為他在季後賽的不振廣受批評，而他在與騎士競爭的過程中讓他

Appearing on All The Smoke podcast with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson,
DeMar Derozan talked at length about his trade. He was assured he wouldn’t
be traded by Ujiri merely days before news of his trade to San Antonio came
through. It came as a shock to Deebo, who’s already been a victim of
depression in the past.

our mind for a second cause there’s only like one motherf***ker we weren’t
able to get past. We bout to at least run it back on more time and give it a
shot. That was our mindset.”
「LBJ決定去LA，而我們則是開心死了。他是我們唯一一個打不贏的，所以或許我們再次有
機會可以搶冠軍了。那新聞讓我們大家安心了一下，因為他是我們唯一打不過的那個媽惹

DeRozan has recently been speculated to be on the way to LA. This would be a
homecoming of sorts for the Compton native.
