Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook has withdrawn from USA
Basketball roster for the World Cup in Spain this summer, league sources told
Yahoo Sports.
Yahoo: Russell Westbrook 已確定不參加這次在西班牙舉辦的世界盃。
Westbrook had been part of gold-medal-winning teams in 2010 and '12 in the
world championships and Olympics, respectively, and has been a favorite of
national coach Mike Krzyzewski.
在2010與2012時，美國隊分別拿下了世界盃和奧運金牌，而深受美國隊總教練 Mike
Krzyzewski 喜愛的 Westbrook 也參與了這項殊榮。
Westbrook, 25, still has hopes of playing in the 2016 Olympic Games in
Brazil, sources said.
消息來源指出，目前 Westbrook 僅僅25歲，在2016巴西奧運時，仍有機會見到 Westbrook

Westbrook's decision leaves the opportunity for Golden State's Stephen Curry
to compete for a roster spot with Cleveland's Kyrie Irving and Portland's
Damian Lillard. Chicago's Derrick Rose is still deciding whether he'll play
for USA Basketball this summer.
Westbrook 的退出讓 Stephen Curry（勇士）、Kyrie Irving（騎士）與 Damian

After a season that included his third surgery on his right knee, Westbrook
decided to pass on the two-month commitment that includes a July training
camp, August exhibition tour and September tournament in Spain.
