Lillard scored 35 points and handed out nine assists with no turnovers, the first rookie with those numbers since TOs became a stat in 1978-79. "He was pretty special," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. "He just bid his time in the first half. Aldridge was playing so well (in the first half). In the second half, Lillard just took over and we just couldn't stop him." Davis only played eight minutes in the second half and less than a minute in the fourth quarter, finishing with 13 points and six boards. Coach Monty Williams said afterward he was trying to save Davis' sore shoulder, but you have to think his defense may have helped New Orleans, which was outscored 30-16 in the paint in the second half. And with Kyrie Irving potentially done for the season, the Cavs will be counting on Waiters for his scoring down the stretch. 4 Bradley Beal : WASHINGTON WIZARDS Beal missed his fourth straight game Tuesday since injuring his left ankle March 3 and it appears the Wizards are in no rush to get him back. Beal is walking without a limp, but says he still hasn't started running on the ankle. "He didn't feel up to getting on the court, so we didn't," coach Randy Wittman said after Monday's practice. "No sense putting him on the court and making it worse. But we've got to make sure we get to a point where he feels he can get out on the floor. it's just one of those injuries. Tomorrow he may wake up and feel better, go to shootaround and oooh, this feels okay. So until we reach that point, that could be tomorrow, that could be a week from now, I don't know. Harkless bounced back a bit Tuesday, scoring 12 points with four rebounds in Orlando's loss to the Lakers before fouling out for just the second time this season.
