[情報] Mourning Serving As Mentor To Bosh
ZO多傳授Bosh幾招吧 ~
As he adjusts to basketball life as the team’s third wheel, Chris Bosh is
spending plenty of time with Alonzo Mourning at training camp.
In terms of mentors, Bosh didn’t have many when he played in Toronto, the
lone exception being Antonio Davis in Bosh’s rookie year when the veteran
was pining to get moved.
Zo has completely turned around his image, but for those in Toronto, the name
Mourning conjures images of all that is wrong with today’s hoopsters.
If you recall, Mourning refused to even set foot in Toronto when the Raptors
acquired him from New Jersey in that monumentally foolish trade involving
Vince Carter.
Mourning serves as the Heat’s vice-president for player programs, an icon in
South Beach whose very word carries a lot of clout.
“That’s what he was brought back to this team to do, to relate to us,”
Bosh said of Zo. “The best part about it is he’s been a big man and he has
a ring.”
