有些中國的朋友同事 覺得暴力就是民主的手段 迫使和自己意見不同者臣服 礙於交情和表面的和平 還有未來的合作 我沒有comments 如果因為這段期間的抗爭 被視為民主的目的 而非民眾的聲音且不被政府所傾聽 那六四的發生 只是政府和平的讓民意沈默 生氣 好想回他: Violence is not the end of democracy; nor is it expressed as a mean to democra cy. It is the last resort anyone in any forms of political stand would rather see it happen. However, a democratic country must have a competent government wit h democratic state of mind. Absent from such, people cannot be heard properly e ven when they have been trying relentlessly and hopelessly. The protests leading to fights and chaos did not start from today. They are di sappointments and rage from people toward government who fails to listen again and again, months by months. In a democratic country, you would not and it’s impossible to expect people to live without freedom of expressions through di fferent ways including their rage. This is of course deemed to be barbaric taken in different perspectives. Those who had broken the laws have and would receive their consequences.
