[微積] 關於mean value?
正在讀某科目的原文書
書中寫到 "the reduction factor is roughly
the mean value of (cosθ)^4"
雖然只節錄一部份，但整段都沒寫到θ的值是多少
那這邊說的mean value是什麼意思呢?
請知道的版大回答我了

後來下面幾行有看到
If θ kept below 10 degree, the simple expression indicates
that the strength loss should be less than about 5%.
所以這邊的mean value似乎是另有意思?
剛剛用excel算了一下，在10度以前，(cosθ)^4的值都是大於0.95
不知道這是不是指其strength loss= 1-(cosθ)^4 < 0.05
