請問"order n"和"O(n^-1)"的意思各是什麼?
我在讀一篇統計論文時, 看到以下兩個句子:
"... Note that I, J, K refer to a total over the sample and
are of order n. Finally, a calculation similar to (15)
shows that the final term in (14) is O(n^-1) ..."
實在不知道其中的"order n"和"O(n^-1),
所以想請大家幫忙解答一下.
由於文章內容繁多, 不可能全部PO出來,
而我也知道沒頭沒尾的只PO出短短兩句,
大家可能不容易判斷句中字詞的意義.
不過, 如果可以的話, 麻煩大家告訴我,
那兩個詞"通常"是指什麼意思.
PS1: I, J, K都是矩陣, 但並非n*n的矩陣.
