[機統] 中央極限定理問題
各位前輩好,有個問題一直無法下手,想請教各位前輩想法
The number of messages arriving at a multiplexer is an unknown random variable
with mean 10 messages/second and standard deviation 3 messages/second.
Use the central limit theorem to estimate the probability that more than
670 messages arrive in one minute.
我本來想說
1秒10個訊息,那麼1個訊息就0.1秒,也就是 0.1 second/message
然後把 n = 670 messages 來想,但是可以擅自把平均值取倒數嗎?
它不是Possion分佈,它是說不知道的隨機變數,這樣子我該怎麼辦呢?
程度很差,希望前輩們能夠指點迷津,謝謝各位前輩們的幫忙。
