A source confirmed today that the two sides made " a lot of progress last night" towards a one-year, incentive-laden package that could be announced early next week after a routine physical. As of today, the sides were finalizing terms of the agreement. The Mariners have been looking to bring in a left-handed pitcher, something they've lacked in the bullpen in recent years outside of long relief types.
